Kamchatka

Central Valley of Kamchatka are flanked by large volcanic belts, containing around 160 volcanoes, 29 of them still active. Thus, the peninsula has perhaps the highest density of volcanoes and volcanic phenomena in the world, with 19 active volcanos being included on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The highest volcano is Klyuchevskaya Sopka (4,750 m), while the most striking is Kronotsky, whose perfect cone was said by celebrated volcanologists Robert and Barbara Decker to be a prime candidate for the world's most beautiful volcano. Another sightseeings  are the three volcanoes visible from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: Koryaksky, Avachinsky, and Kozelsky. In the center of Kamchatka is the only Eurasia's Geyser Valley; it was partly destroyed by a massive mudslide in June 2007.

  Sightseeing points worth visiting

- Sea voyage on boat along Avacha bay – to cliff “Three brothers”, with fishing and arranging special fish - soup.

- Excursion by MI-8 helicopter to “Valley of Geysers”. The valley of the Geysers stands among the greatest newly discovered destinations of the 20th century. Situated in a unique canyon, the Valley probably has the region’s most breathtaking scenery attracting admirers from all over the world. You will have a helicopter flight over the beautiful landscape of active and extinct volcanoes, mountain ridges and tracts of pristine forests dissected by lakes and rivers to a spot within the valley. The Valley will salute you with blasts of curling steam, whiffs of sulfur in the air and glistening sprinkles of geysers gushing to the high heaven. The main things to see are Bolshoi (Main) and Malyi (Minor) geysers, hailed as the Valley’s most powerful and spectacular, followed by a succession of smaller geysers and mud springs: Leshii, Fontan, Dvoinoi, Vorota Ada.

- Paratunka Resort – is part of the celebrated Paratunka thermal springs resort placed in one of the most scenic valleys of Kamchatka Peninsula.

- Volcanoes – the Koryaksky, the Avachinsky, and the Koselsky – are very close to the city of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. One of the active volcanoes, the Klyuchevskaya, is Kamchatka’s highest point and Eurasia’s largest volcano

- Khodutkinsky Hot Springs – one of Kamchatka’s greatest wonders.

- Timonovskye Hot Springs are part of the Timonovsky Natural Reserve. The springs are famous for their invigorating effects, which attract thousands of visitors.
